It would be beautiful to have it back. But u won't see real limestone walls and window frames. That would b too time consuming and therefore costly. What they do now is use plaster and different manmade products to give the look but it is not even close in quality.
I believe that it is marble either carrera, or volakas, one of the white marbles for sure. there is so much work involved in the edge detail and cutting of stone. It is beautiful!
