Hey, we had those same blue chairs at western center. At least the piss was easy to clean out of them when they had accidents.........ahhh, the memories........LOL
I understand autoguy. I worked at western center in pa. when they filmed silence of the lambs, but still missed my chance . maybe one day ........good luck !!

Another Great gallery Motts!! Do you ever do any vidios?
The bulbs look relatively new, compared to the fixture. Was that because this area may have had some sort of recent activity?
Was it after 5:00 pm?

I love this picture, it is a reminder that even though these places may to us, through modern eyes seem to have been filled with horror, were fundamentally trying to help the patients. Giving them access to things such as hair salons was part of some patients treatment. Much nicer than ECT I am sure!
I agree. :) Commenting is half the fun of these galleries especially when you have such fun people on here. :)

I can't wait for the next one...

When is the next set of outstanding pictures coming out Mr. Motts?
Again...ewwwww autoguy! I would HATE to see your living arrangements if this is your kitchen and the other one looked like your bathroom floor! Do you live in an alley?

(Runs away)
Um...ew.

Looks like someone was keeping track of something...perhaps they were tracking all the lobotomies for the Head Zombie...*creepy music*
YEah autoguy, and I have a feeling showering was NOT one of their priorities with so many people for the staff to care for. Ewww...can you imagine sitting next to someone with B.O. that would make your eyes water? How about B.O. so bad that a skunk wouldn't sit next to the person? LOL!
BWAHAHAHAH thanks autoguy! :) You always make me smile with your zombie posts.

I would think that they aren't fussy at all...brains are brains, and maybe this was what they washed all of them down with! :)
LOL autoguy...I agree. VERY retro chairs. :D
Isn't it sad that people have to die and suffer (as in war-time) to advance science and medicine? I suppose that in everything we do as a people there has to be some sacrifice, but when you think of it in terms of real people who were living and had family and friends, well...it makes it a lot more depressing. I would think that some of the people who had died as we figured out how to treat burns better and treat closed head wounds better and how to treat infections way back when better would think of it as they were doing their part in helping their fellow man. That makes it a little brighter, but not much. Thanks for posting that old Lpn.

You can't be THAT old...can you? My grandma will be 90 next March...THAT is old. :)
