It's funny that you claim to keep this location private, yet you post the ellusive, and very much original photograph of the "psychopathic building 1914" emblem. Better luck next time.
Looking at that photo in the past,I never wouldve known those men were pysch patients, nor even in a hospital. They all look so...sane. And the picture gives off a social feel, like some sort of gentlemans lounge,I mean, look how clam they seem, not like the "rocking back and forth, mumbling to oneself" types you see in 60's and 70's
WOW - room after room after room with half-walls of glazed tile! How costly, and so much time needed to build it, must have been expensive.. Amazing pictures. Be well and stay in joy, Mr. M.
Ohhh my - some hardworking secretaries endless years of work just there on the floor!! Human beings are very strange (me too) Some persons failed badly at their job, when place closed and was cleaned out. Shame on them!
Is it of no use to ANY-ONE now???? Documents usually are interesting after a while/some years. Would like to check it out.
This is a fine gallery, Mr.M. May you always be well is my wish.
The majority of the other buildings on campus with this site are still partially in use as rehab centers for various casuse from drug abuse to kleptomania, there are also some other very interesting patient cottages that are abandoned and are operated through portable facilities located within the courtyards of the buildings, its a beautiful drive around campus, the architecture is beautiful during the day and truely haunting by nightfall! great gallery Motts
Happy to say this whole entire building is still standing and in great shape, its been boarded up pretty heavily so getting inside is essentially impossible, but still breathtaking to view from the outside
