What a neat little white Lamp stuck up there in the ceiling like a tiny pearl button.
Low door-knobs. It is pretty how the bricks are seen now that the paint fell away. Like!
It is such a pretty room; and interesting and intriguing, too.
Shape and size is just so nice - the window high and HUGE, and the door strange with that low door-knob. High ceiling. Wonder if there were another exit??? Love it.
Lovely photo, Mr.M. Everything about it.

When hydrotherapy started way back when it seemed to be focused on continuous baths, usually with warm water. You know, sort of like whirlpool tubs all the high end houses and hotels have these days. Probably not a bad way to calm someone down. Was mentioned positively in Clifford Whittingham's The Mind That Found Itself.

But somehow in the treatment of the mentally ill, if some is good, a whole lot more must be better. So bath times got extended to days at a time, ice water, etc. So it is taken to an absurd extreme then what merit there was in moderation, if any, is discredited.
Notice the plank between the stairs -- so no one could jump
Yes, love the stonework, too, AND the gorgeous little balcony! It´s mine!
Hair-driers are left behind. In a lot of places. This is a hair-drier with an attitude!
TILES FTW! Like them so very much! And like the contrast! Love that! The rest falling apart, totally, and the tiles just sitting there neatly, smiling!
Ahh those cool lovely tiles again!
That is expensive and lasts forever! Tiles FTW! What lovely hues, tints and shades; soft and peachy!
Where are the faucets?

I think you're confused - I'm not playing the super-duper-secret-UE-location game. What details I share are a very personal preference, and I don't think you should expect them to coincide with your views and feelings.

Feel free to run your own website / book / projects, and I'll stick to mine.
