Looks like a place i was watching people restore on Grand Designs last night, was an old waterworks. Looked good in the end, kinda sad that no one sees what others do in some of these places.

I like the ivy growing up the tower as well, would be interesting to see it
if it were to get really bushy.

To bad they never finished the condos. What a great building it would be to live in. A circular living room would be fun to decorate. And the outside of the building would be wonderful to see every day when you returned home.

I bet back in its heyday this staircase was beautiful. What a pity its left to rust away with no one walking up & down on it anymore. It is a total shame really. I do agree with eldokid the plastic will still be around but the building will be long gone....anyone watch the 'Life After People' series.....very interesting.......Great pic Motts!!
This is definitely becoming my wallpaper on my netbook :) This is definitely a topper on my faves list!

Great photo as always Motts. When I see this view of the building....I have a feeling when they were building this way back in the day someone looked up at it (one of the workers etc...) and thought what a wonderful structure it would be. They might not be too happy with the state that it is in now though....I'm sure. Thanks for giving us perspective as always Motts.
Thank-you for the update.

It was enjoyable.
"TRICK OR TREEEEAT!!!"

This is beautiful: FAVORITE! I love that the demolished wing is off to the right side, and the clump of trees are off to the left.

Works very well in black and white.
Looks like the lighting really was worth it in the end, though- It's BEAUTIFUL!
