Yes Mica it is quite the thread. Mr. Motts posted these photos in July of 2004. March 2015 will be 10 years since the first viewer post. Thank You, Mr. Motts!!
Thanks, wanderer; was here a year ago.
And THE WINNER is brave Mr.Motts, congratulations for Creation Site and taking a picture so posted, generating 739 comments of awe, anger, admiration, compassion, curiosity, fury, interest, passion and whatnot, over the nonchalance and ill-treating of a beautiful precious old building with a history
- the way we Human Beings behave, and do is shameful indeed.
So baffled she did not burn down. It is gone, far too late for this edifice structure now.
Would never in my life dare or even think about entering. Please don´t!
Celeste Minecraft Project FTW really, awesome is just the first word.
Google Earth Street View `Click to go´- you see her basking gloriously through the trees in bright Sun - quite a sight, and a few pictures also; of rear, too. What a construction!
Handsome stately Fairy Tale Look.....still.....visible....imaginable...in spite of despair
Ohhh the sadness of it all.

i've seen the furnace room from the outside - u don't know how I could kick myself for not trying to explore the place back in '87 but then the no tress sign was up- there was somebody contacted me about UE in there but another site warned of people working with the police to catch tressers---- drats so must depend on the modern day daredevils

Wanderer glad you enjoyed the vid. They were mos. def. in the furnace room early on. I do not know if the heating plant is in the basement or "sub-basement". The footage looks like they followed the same path as the older "Andy's World" video. Makes me think they followed the safer, least obstructed trail? Maybe the only safe path left? Maybe we will hear from Celeste and Ratchet ?

watched it early today the muting was a great idea- they were down in the basement ? the floors in the wood part of the ediface are bad but the spunk of the youth is admirable they drove 2-3 hrs they deserve good footage

Iceberg, try utube search for "abandoned school for girls", "halcyon hall", "Bennett school". Celeste thanks for posting, I look forward to your links! There is also one that searching "abandoned school for girls back. will show the courtyard side of the building. In addition to what Celeste has found for us. Folks refer to "Halcyon Hall' many different ways. Searching different ways brings up more videos, maybe someone will find something we have not found. Thanks Celeste and everyone!

As for winter, I wouldn't be surprised if 2 of the last mid dormer bay window things have collapsed. There will no doubt be significant damage to the mid structure. East wing will also no doubt have significant internal floor damage. West wing will probably hold up as it has been all year.

I'll post every halcyon video I have found on youtube that involves exploration later.
