Bennnett commons was to be part of the school for dorms but didn't make -it what i saw of the science center didn't look so bad last Oct

Just wanted to let people know that the photobucket , Celeste linked sometime earlier, now has photos of the "Kettering Science Center". It is vandalized and in very poor repair. I have read that it was never used. Very sad to see.

being a halcyon GROUPIE i watch the Millbrook Independent for news and also keep in touch with Carola Lott several times a year- really HOPE the demo will be in Oct when I visit-this would be like winning the Triple Crown- next year it'll be 30 years i've been into this place

Nice to see your post Stax.. I think the Halcyon groupies including myself are fearful we will log in one day and Halcyon will be gone. We all know it will eventually happen. We realize it is much to late to save the old mansion. The architecture is compelling. Most will feel kind of cheated if we log in one day, and discover Halcyon is gone under the cover of winter when most are preoccupied with day to day issues. Stax, take care man.

if i am not correct [ we need [PRW] the theatre and science center are buildings independent of the original structure behind bennett Commons are 2 hidden[ to me] structures never saw them in my search before too much foliage at that time

Am soo far away in Sweden, and now realizing how cherished and loved this old edifice is, and studying the all pictures of breakup, decay + loosing, and wasting, it really IS heartfelt.
