Im so sorry Wanderer for leaving you up in the air like that.We have been suffering computer woes at the moment.I am on my boys iPad at the mo because the laptop has done its dash, and I think I like this way better to his disgust. But then once they are in bed you can do what you like then aye.Typing is way easier as well so the updated model of this will be the way my wife and I go.To all my mates in the States, have a great summer coz its winter here and am envying you all...
tired of hearing from me - got an email from carola lott and she said they are still deciding what to do and the Independent will keep up on the progress
just got finished watching all 3 of the episodes and they played it safe by not going into the wooden part of Bennett- thanx sooo much for the info however the accent was kinda hard to interpret
Hello Everyone! Wanderer, I think StaxV8 was referring to the youtube video, "Bennett School for girls" posted by, " Exploring with Josh". That particular video is no longer available. It was a great vid. of Bennett. I wish it was still available. There is new youtube vid up now posted by "decay is headed your way", posted in 3 parts. I think it was filmed in 2013, the video is good quality but there seems to be some confusion about the age of different parts of the building, especially the "Tower building". It is a good second look not much that we have not seen though. Have a good summer everyone. I check back often. It was nice of Mr. Motts to answer my questions. I have to say it is nice he checks the boards. Anyone hear of any new plans?
Hi from down under.Just looking on youtube and found a post on Miss Bennett with Josh.Headed up exploring abandoned mansion and nearly died.It was def Miss Bennett.Hope you all are well.Cheers
Yeah I can't imagine the town letting anyone near the place due to liability. LPN, I thought I had made another trip there, but I don't have any more photos of Bennett, so it must've been a dream!
If only the town would open the doors up to anyone that wanted to walk around this place, one last time & take photos of her before she was taken down. Think of all the new galleries we'd all have to look at & enjoy of this place. I'll keep checking back, for updates on Ms. Bennett. At least I know she is still hanging on.
there is nothing like being there- when I first saw the Brooklyn bridge and Statue of Liberty- was real- there are several UE sites on u tube investigate them- what a hoot- ah like being home
