God, looking at this room makes my heart sink. The senseless graffiti is just ridiculous. I love that old tile and you can't even make out the originality of the room. Just sad.

It would sure be nice to see an abandoned building that wasn't vandalized by assholes with spray paint. What are they like 10 years old?
Interesting photo. I know this has been asked already but why do people and by people I mean immature kids feel the need to set fires, break windows, spraypaint stupid crap all over everything in this types of buildings? I am all for urban exploration and very much into paranormal investigation but I am not down with vandalism. Oh and the go to response of "Well it is going to be torn down anyway" really doesn't cut it anymore. Again credit and kudos go to Tom Motts and gang for bringing us these photos.

Interesting photos. However I am getting a migraine from all of the bad spelling and from some of the other posters's ignorant comments. There is nothing funny or cool about vandalizing a building. Even if it is abandoned and slated for demolition. I'm sure that Mister Motts did not have the intent of creating this website or posting pictures just so obnoxious kids could write how cool they were for graffiti or tearing up stuff. Spend time in the patients's shoes and maybe you will understand why some of the more mature posters get irked with immature comments. Okay rant over.
Interesting pic. Reminds me of Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Not to be a stick in the mud because these are some great photos but what exactly is the point of tearing stuff up and starting fires? Not only are those things stupid, juvenile, and just plain dangerous it is also shows a lack of respect for those who lived and died in Byberry. I don't think you would be happy if someone did that to your home. Like I said brilliant photos. Okay rant over.

I was in there back in 2001. It smelled like a nurses office. I heard banging on the walls. It was freaky. Lol I think and hope that someone else was in there.

I looked at these pictures a few years ago and got chill, now coming back to them brings the chills right back. Excellent stuff here.
im looking to go to byberry with some exquipment to find out exactly what and if anything is haunting the area/ if anyone has maps or ideas on wher exactly to begin my search, o know most of the buildings have been torn down , but i would love to go and look around i know ill probably not find anything but i really would love to get there. i know the one building still standing has easy accss to get inside due to a clumbsy contractor leaving a "boarded up window" without the board or a lock . so any info on where to start to try to fina ghost please send any information my way ...

im currently on FB under Shawn Spreter or you can email any infp to anonymous350186@gmail.com .

It so utterly without attraction charm.
But is was a warm room, was it not?
Is that a radiator under EVERY WINDOW?
Yes, concur...Tom!
What a mess; and yet the LAMP is just hanging there - one of black metal enamel, white inside. It has a very pretty shape. Mysterious the way things are.
This is by far the scariest place I've seen pics of
