I have an old pharmacy cabinet similar to this - even painted green - that I'm in the process of restoring to go in my home. Oh, and no, I didn't 'take' it from anywhere....I purchased it out of an old funeral home that had been located in an 1800s mansion but closed and was liquidating assets.

From the abandonment and death of the building....life still continues.

Tyne, I agree with you 100%. Graffiti is a joke, and defacing buildings is disgusting.

I grew up in Parkwood. That is about a half mile from old Byberry. I've been through that place many times with my friends from 1978 till bout 1984. We would explore the basement areas and there was always people down there in the dark. You couldn't really see them but when you bumped into or stepped on one it would scare the living shit out of you. They would try to grab you sometimes and we would all just run like hell. We did see dead animals back in there. I knew a man that lost his kid to that cult that stayed in there and he was never himself about all of it. I get it. Who would be. It was something to do on Saturdays or Sundays when we were bored.

I don't think there are any buildings left. Might be some tunnels underneath where they're not building new homes, but they're more than likely filled in.

Is there anything left there now? Buildings or tunnels? Where is the best place to park?
Fascinating mix of light and shadow makes the graffiti look even stranger.
