The hooks are probably used to tie down limbs. Being in the medical field, I can tell you that once rigi sets in, it can be very difficult to make extremities stay where there supposed to.
I have to read nursing logs and staff event forms from my section of campus for my thrice weekly risk management meetings, plus I have to read all the nursing logs once a month (for 500 folks). It is generally the highlight of my day trying to figure out exactly what people wrote, as what I like to PRETEND they say is always a lot funnier than what they ACTUALLY say. It is especially difficult to interpret if someone misspells a word or uses an abbreviation I'm not expecting.
God save the poor people who have to read physicians' handwriting, however. 8-(
Very interesting, Mathue - thanks! Truckie will be especially interested in the second article, I think. And our Backy will want to go over there and start digging. ;-)
And for THAT the original artists are heaving a sigh of relief. ;-)
I actually think you are allowed to goof around doing things like this if you aren't representing it as original art or profitting off of it. Surely someone around here is a copyright expert, yes?
I've been ignoring forums I used to write on. I'm barely posting anything on my Blog, and paying a little less attention to my Yahoo groups as well. I have to keep coming here. I keep thinking I'll find some new revelation about some pic we discussed last week (as happened this morning)
Does Motts know he's created a monster that keeps sucking people in? (LOL)
I wish Northhampton could look so buetifull like this building. This shot is Just AMAZING Motts. Espaccely the tub bolted to the wall. Makes It look Haunted.
