you can drive right up to this one. The road comes right off of Bridge St. I bike past it all the time.

Deceptively simple - the tonal range and brick - like walls give the image a very cold look. As Motts observes above, the very fact that grates cover the window, securing patients inside, of whom many may have walked these stairs as well as staff over the years is equally as deep as any of Mott's other images, only with a more surfaced look.

The PHF where I work is on the local power grid; but it does have a generator backup in case the power goes down.

Actually, it wasn't the penticle that made me think of this being "Satanic." It was the altar with the demon head, the robed 'priests' and the obvious female sacrafice. The penticle was kind of secondary, there.

I don't think the person who painted the mural was really all that up on his Occult Mythology and Symbolism. Eh, either way, it's not something I'd expect to see on a "kid's" ride. Which is why I come here, right? To see that which I don't expect to see.

Yeah, I think the cops prefer the rear wheel drive Crown Vics, since the Impala's went to front wheel drive. Down here,in Doraville, they still have a few of the Impala SS rear wheel drive cars left, they may be drug seizure cars. They're pretty stealthy looking parked on the side of the expressways.
