this building is neat I love the architecture and the layout, it has this mojo, of " yeah I was a power plant and what are you gonna do about it!" it just has a very manly feel to it, sorry I am rambling :-)

This picture seems rather disturbing for some reason.

Marty, it's One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest. Don't pay any attention to the things the movie shows you, it's Hollywood not reality.

He didn't mean it Lynnie, put the knife down. Here, lemme get your soapbox set up, so you can set him straight. :) Has anyone stabilized her head so she can't hurt herself while she's teaching us the truth? :D
Dedjezter: I hope Lynne will come in and explain to you what it's really like in one of these places, but until she does, let's just say you're wrong about pretty much everything you just said.

Actually, it's Spanish man, not French. He said:
"it gives to fear this pagina (??) but I like the fear"
Or, less literally "This scares me, but I like being afraid."

I also work very close to this building. In fact, I drive past this building on the road just to the right of this photo every day. It's a major thoroughfare for our company. I find myself in awe and mild fear each and every time I drive past.

Your photographs are truly incredible!

Grifspop,
Your story reminds me of a story I heard about some thieves who'd patiently watched some engineers lay miles of cable for a new building (I think) before sneaking in at night and pulling it all out.

Sadly for them it was fibre optic cable! (Probably damaged and useless after they'd ripped it out, too).
