Isn't it strange how we can just leave a place and it can be forgotten for years and years?

they should tear down every last building... they serve no purpose, except to lure people that have nothing else better to do but to the site to break in. Chances are that comment above in the pic was writen by some idiot who broke into the place. let the poor souls that were there rest.

These are in a scrap yard, they are slowly taking them down one by one. The waters around Staten Island are polluted with waay worse things than these boats (sewage, chemicals, etc), I suppose the EPA has more to worry about than this...

Nah I wasn't all too interested in the 'Session 9' stuff. It was cool seeing the cast sign the metal plate in front of the asbestos suit tunnel (which was ripped out later) and all that but the real DSH was more interesting to me.

A fire most likey destroyed the roof.

Nope, this and almost every chair shot is the way I found them. Doesn't mean someone pulled it out for a photo before I got there though.

Nah, no bowling balls were left behind! There was a cop sitting outside the building too...

I'm not positive but I think the power plant, Furcolo, morgue, and chapel are gone.

Yes, the building still stands, and it does indeed have a smokestack attached to one of the buildings. There have been two fires there in the past few years. Photos of the fires can be seen at:
