When you are trying to reorient people who have reality/perceptual issues, a good place to start is with concrete things, like what day is it, what's the weather like, etc. You can both check to see whether the person is oriented to date and time (a quick mini mental status exam) and assist the folks who don't currently have this concept.

i hate to rain on your parade, but those were the scratches used in the movie 'In Dreams' which was filmed in Northampton. pretty cool

This building unfortunately caught fire the other night. The entire 2nd floor is gone and only 1 and a half of those pillars are left - the entire roof caved in. Quite a shame, it was really a site to see this while driving up the first hill.

i know were that is. you see i use to live their at metro with my grandfather when he was one of the head officers and we use to live on the grounds across from this building. that was 10yrs ago

Kinda cool, but think of the annoying things that coulda happened (getting locked out of both doors on a snowy day, for instance!).
