Just a polite question, no bias, but how many of the people screaming "Walmart is a hellhole" have ever worked there, or haven't been advised by their union that it's a hellhole, or a friend of a friend's younger brother's ex-roommate's cousin worked there?

No, I don't work there, nor do I know anyone who does, but every time I go to my local Wally World, the workers seem pretty okay with their situation..

Treatment can include a whole range of things, from a long talk and picture viewing with a Doctor, to a little juice, to an icepick in the upper orbit of the eye socket, It always depends on the happenstances.

Actually, I don't see a med window in the hall.. Unless the assumption is that it was in the door..
I can understand a nurse's station being enclosed thusly, as it would keep the clients out of the paperwork, phones, and the nurse's hair, not to mention the omnipresent coffeepot..
Looking at the setup, this looks like it would have been in either a security ward, or, looking at the handrail, possibly, blind area.

It's neat...you can see where older light fixtures were anchored BEFORE the drop-tile was added at a later time (to save on the heating bill presumably).

While it is true that Walmart has done some bad things, Dixmont's demise shouldn't be blamed on them.. The decay began almost 20 years before..
The buildings were in extremely sorry shape, and the asbestos wasn't very safe either.. I hate to say it, but vandals had a hand in it, as well as Mother Nature, and the people who salvaged the doors, windows, etc.
It still saddens me to see the old girl go.
