If the hospital was built in the 1800's I doubt very much thats the same kind of needle they used then. They used syringes which were more metal. I have been in the same place, and I did look in the drawers. There were old files...lots of them. I took a folder (yeah, I know, I feel guilty) which has the medical records for a 5 year old boy. The files are dated 1962.

Many times I felt I should bring them back...I felt that maybe they "belonged" there, but the building is since demolished and condos are there. Now, I look at it not as theft, but as preserving history.
