The sad thing is, the state is responsible for all of these documents and ensuring their confidentiality. They are considered medical records and cannot be destroyed. I can't seem to identify any reason that they are still in this facility. It's law that once a facility is closed, all remaining patient documents are to be removed and stored at an alternate location.
"I dare you...."
OK here's the deal if you REALLY want to be in Mott's club you have to spend the night at the school.... and surrvive.

hey everyone, i venture to this site recently , and just looove it, i thought i was the only one intrigued by this form of photography... motts you are my hero :) if anyone has the documentary channel , there is a movie on called "untangling the mind" and it shows old footage of many of the hospitals on this site... just thought yall would be interested...
I used to run cross country for nearby TZ high school and we would run up in the trails by the tunnels all the time.. We would always make the freshman run down the tunnel without flashlights as a sort of initiation. Very stupid looking back because we had no idea whether there were holes in the ground. We actually came into contact with the "camper" he was very strange and painted a large pentagram on a tarp covering the doorway leading into the bunker. This area is known for devil worshipping and there is alot of strange things up there. Lets ust say i wouldnt want to be there at night or even run alone there during the day. Its a very eerie place to be
I thought that those electrical plugs were European in design. I just went to "google maps" to see where Sunderland, England is. Sunderland looks like a nice place. It does not look anywhere as busy as London. This website is just super !
Nee; thank you for responding. Now when I take a second look at it I now see that it is an overhead light. I don't know why I did not see this before. These photographs by "Mott" are so great ! Now that Spring Time is here and Summer is coming I should drive around Europe and see if I can find some old buildings and take some photographs. When I take the train around Germany I see some old train stations but it is illegal to walk around the railroad tracks. I sure that there are some old vacant buildings around somewhere.
Lina; thank you for responding. Did the patients try to jump alot ? This website is so amazing ! I have been learning so much as I have been reading everyone's experiences.
I remember being in the theater as a student in psychology. We observed patient interviews by the psychiatrists and noted the patients' behavior and responses. Seems so long ago now.
As a Soldier I have taken part in several burials as a member of the funeral detail or as the Army likes to call it; Ceremonial Detachment. And to think: that some of the dead soldiers that I have buried are lying down on straw like a cow in a barn is horrible.
When it is time for me to die I will go to the funeral parlors and cut open the lining of the coffin and see what is inside of it. I will now have to do research on coffins and see what other types of materials that are used to fill up a coffin.
