Nice addition Motts! Those darkened hallway shots could of used a ghost too. That would of been funny for extra comment reactions.

You know what they say, after midnight the magic is gone. But not completely.

The texture of the building with all the bricks look like scales on a skin of some reptile, just an observation. Great angle, the shot is just perfect!

WHAT A SHAME TO HAVE THIS BEAUTIFUL OLD BUILDING DESTROYED BY FIRE SATURDAY 4/7/07. THANKS TO THIS PHOTOGRAPHY THE BEAUTY IS STILL PRESERVED. SCARY, BUT PRESERVED. I WENT TO ESSEX AGRICULTURAL TECHNICAL INSTITUTE FROM 1985-1987 AND IT IS BELOW THIS MAGNIFICENT, HORRIFYING BUILDING. I DID GO UP THERE AND SNEAK AROUND BUT WOULD NEVER WANT ILL TO COME TO THIS PLACE.

It is sad to see the hospital in this condition
my father was the chief supervisor at Worcester State for twenty five years. I was
born on the property at 269 Belmont st in
1920 and lived there 18 years I roamed every
inch of that property inside and out. The
patients weather permitting were taken out
for walks .Some were on parole status
they could go to the city and roam Front st and Main st or any where in the city. I was one of the two alter boys to serve mass there, for
years. Also went to the movies on Mondays
there was so much good done with research
then .....................A lot of it was crude but so
was life at that time..
