i bet.....that someone came in there and killed 200000 people...and then tipped over the bathtub.

I think public entertainment tastes also contributed to it's closing. Traditional parks like Rocky Point and Whalom Park are a thing of the past. The rides are considered tame for today's kids, they want to 250 feet stomach dropping coasters like at Six Flags and the big theme parks.

It is for carrying coal. The coal is dumped into a bunker then dropped into a feeder. The coal feeder feeds a pulverizer, which crushes the coal before being lifted, by air, into the furnace.

I WENT TO THIS PLACE IN EARLY OCTOBER WITH ABOUT 10 OF MY FRIENDS AND I ALSO HAD A FEELING LIKE WE WERE'NT WANTED THERE. WE DIDN'T GET CAUGHT BUT WE SAW A FEW THINGS. AS WE WERE WALKING DOWN A PATH (WHICH WAS THE WRONG WAY) A DOG RAN TOWARDS US AT FULL SPEED AND AS IT GOT CLOSE IT DISAPPEARED. ABOUT 5 MINUTES LATER WE SPOTTED THE DOG BY THE SIDE OF THE PATH AND WE FOLLOWED THE DOG UNTIL WE SPOTTED THE CHILDRENS BUILDING. WE WENT INSIDE AND AS SOON AS WE GOT IN WE SAW AN ADULT SHADOW RUNNING DOWN THE HALLWAY AFTER A CHILD'S SHADOW. EVERYBODY WAS FREAKED OUT AND RAN BACK OUTSIDE THE BUILDING. AFTER ABOUT 10 MINUTES WE WENT BACK INSIDE AND CONTINUED WALKIN THRU THE BUILDING. WE WERE IN THE BULIDING FOR ABOUT 40 MINUTES BUT DIDNT SEE ANYTHING ELSE. AS WE WERE LEAVING THE BUILDING WE HEARD VOICES OF A GROUP OF CHILDREN LAUGHING AND PLAYING. IT SOUNDED LIKE ONE OF THEM WAS RIGHT BESIDE ME TALKING BUT WHEN I LOOKED THERE WAS NUTHING THERE. BY THIS TIME I WAS COMPLETELY FREAKED OUT AND WAS READY 2 GO. THIS PLACE REALLY IS HAUNTED SO IF UR INTERESTED IN THIS KIND OF STUFF THEN IT WOULD BE A GOOD EXPERIENCE BUT IF NOT STAY HOME BECAUSE U WILL SEE OR HEAR SOMETHING...

yeah,i was a patient there when i was11 yrs old.me and a friend escaped in the snow.there was a kid who used to bang his head on the wall all the time.we slept in one big dorm.they put me in seclusion for running away.i was there because they said i was a stubborn child.some kids got shock therapy. that was around 1954.billy

The whole scene gave me a flattened feeling about it all. Something is so missing, it could absolutely me , I just got this depressed feeling about it. I couln't pick up what it was being put down. I know I'm a relatively neive bastard, what missing in my life. I guess I watch too much T.V. I love you my man, my goodness what would I do whithout you. Johnny Mac.
