Yes, on the right are the greek letters Alpha and Omega (comparable to A and Z) that basically means Jesus is the first and the last, beginning and the end.

The P and X are a common symbol meaning "Christos" or Christ. The first two greek letters for Christos are Chi (X) and Rho (P).

Just today, January 7 2008 my sister purchased an all-brass antique coat rack that has "Goldfield Hotel" printed on it. I was hoping to find a photo that showed a coat rack to compare it to the one my sister just purchased, but no luck so far. The photo above is awesome. - Lyn Wiley
