the floor was parquet floor which butted up to tile edging. The metal on the wall was a long radiator which was covered to prevent people with learning disability burning themselves, Thats what we call them these days.

this is a photo of the main lounge on cartwight home. 60 people used to live here. there was a two foot gap between the beds upstairs in the dormitory.

For all of you, those are not patient papers. The idiots running Oneida County put all the county records in this building for some un-godly reason. Of course kids came in and ruinned the records. My question is why would you put inportant county documents in an abandoned facility that isn't monitored by city of Utica officials, like the Old Main for instance? hmm

Oddly enough, the door to my bathroom is like that. We put a deadbolt on there so that the cats couldn't open the door and pee on the rugs.

I don't know what it is... but it reminds me of this ancient old sewing machine we had in my parents cobbler shop. We used it to resole shoes. But it had all these elaborate levies and wheels and cranks, just like this thing.

The words "fridge" doesn't seem strange to me, but the use of the word "body" here does. Its almost like they're storing the corpses for dinner or something.

From what I know, people are typically put in seclusion for being an immediate threat to themselves or others. Or for simply being destructive, disruptive, or disobeying orders.
