I was a staff member at the Metropolitan State Hospital from 1952 up intill 1969 and I have to say that some of the treatment of patents by the staff was absolutely outragous. You would see patents being physically and mentally abused quite frequently including the younger pre-teen patents that I knew of who passed through the childrens ward. The staff was quite merciless and cruel toward patents and I will never forget the 16 tough years that I spent here and I will never forgive the horrible staff.
