Yes I believe you are correct; the titles of the photos are often a bit abstract and may not exactly reflect the photograph (it's not easy coming up with titles for 4,000+ photos!)

I don't know of any plans for this building... it was abandoned sometime in the 1970s.

I once heard that if the building falls in on itself, there might be a way to circumvent the laws regarding abatement and other (expensive) EPA protocols, as the structure would be too dangerous to work on... not sure if it is true though.

I was at a Salesian boarding school near Ramsey NJ in 1`955-56. Is this the place? It had horses, a lake for fishing and swimming, boating. Favorite was Father Joe. Any info, pix would be welcome. is this the place?

surprizing finds when I stop to remember what this building was. Such stark difference from the wheelchair in the basement and vastly distant from the isolation wards....
