to timothy and E, my mind is blown by your stories about the fellow who "drove around " with a steering wheel and no car. my dad and uncles used to talk about this when i was a kid but i guess i never really quite believed it... until now! the man is apparently a local legend! poor guy, but there's no denying, it's funny.
