ive been down there and i can tell you first hand that weird stuff happens, like hearing sounds when your coming back from the tunnels to go up the stairs cant say what it was but when we got to the top and walked into the hallway no one was there....

Beautiful shot. I agree Kez. This should be a wallpaper. Poor butterfly or flutterby whichever, This makes one glad they are human and on the top of the food chain. It wouldn't be the best of occasion to see a giant spider coming to inject it's digestive juices into you. Must be a slow burning death. Horror!

I really enjoy the gashes on the wall in the center of the picture. If they weren't so straight, they'd make your imagination stir even more!

Wow, I really enjoyed this gallery! In the Cosmosphere (a space museum in Kansas), there is an exhibit dedicated to WWII-era German rocketry. Peenemuende is mentioned throughout the exhibit, and I've always wondered what it looked like now. I should have known that Motts could answer my questions!

I came across this site by learning more about padded rooms & reasons behind them and have spent the last 2 hrs looking over all these photos, This photo I had to comment on, if this is a place which has not been used for many of years has no one come to open this casket? surely kids are local & are dared to open this, i know if i lived nearby my friends would of dared me or another to open this and see whats inside. its an amazing photo. can't wait to spend next 2 hours looking through more photos
