I don't know why but when I look at this picture I imagine the bars as cages to a room. I see myself in an old-fashioned nurses uniform walking down the corridor, patients' arms clawing at the air through the bars. I ignore them but a scared feeling is over whelming.

Although these times were as unpleasant at the patients were, these asylums and hospitals remind us that we had a history of very interesting medical procedures that should remain for nature to "pull them back" to their original state and to remind us just how far we've gome with modern medical procedures and conditions. All asylums around the world will be greatly missed and cherished.

I hope you do. It certainly is a place of interest now isn't it? I hope to visit one day I heard they were thinking about tearing the lovely building down and would love to see it before hand. I can't wait to see photography from there if and when you do go there are limited pictures one the internet and seeing some from you would be absolutly lovely.
