amazing change just like my body once young and strong now old and feeble. It seems that all the true craftsman of the world are no long here. It is not very often these days that you see such beautiful works created.

First.

I noticed in the pictures on the bannermancastle.org site the lettering on the wall says "Bannerman's Island Arsenal" all on one line and then a couple pictures later it says "Bannerman's Island" on one line and Arsenal below it. Was this wall destroyed and then re-built or are there two walls with the lettering on them?

It is a shame that they can not save it. I wish they could find a rich benefactor that would restore it and take a tax deduction for it.

A few years ago, before any of the buildings were torn down, me and a few friends came here to explore, and I sat on these very benches. I had such a weird and eerie feeling, sitting on the same benches as everyone did in this hospital. I wish I still had all the pictures from here. I have a few up on my flickr.
