The graphic border treatment around the photos interferes with the striking beauty of the images, in my opinion.

I sure hope they can save it. I imagine the stories of working there would be very entertaining.

ebolavirus, Im interested in the fact you collect syringes. Do you have any that have a ceramic barrel or wooden type, i find these amazing!!! I am sure i didnt explain that right , but maybe you know what i mean! Thanks, let me know!

I went to sleep away camp there for 3 summers,68,69,70. It was a creepy place. The salesians were good to us. Most of us were from the city. The tower was locked up, but we got in it. The view was spectacular, but the place was spooky. We would wake up every morning to a loud speaker mounted on the tower, it played,"you're a good man Charlie Brown" It had a nice lake, horses, and tons of stuff to do. I was scared to walk thru the halls alone, the place was just spooky. There were lots of stories about lights going on and off, draws opening up, and the mausoleum was really creepy. LAter I went to Salesian High School in New Rochelle and ran into some of the same priests and brothers. All in all they were good summers, but the place was pretty ghostly, lots of stories about tunnels leading into the town.

I have been doing chemical gear collections and studying all ABC/NBC gear for about 20 years...I received my first gas mask about 10 years old and it just went on from there...
I have a very large collection from all countries of the world and have everything that was ever made in the former DDR which is my prized collection...I also do WWII syringes and needles too even though I despise those items and you can't get with 10 foot of me with one without a fight lol...

And thanks to you, I've learned a heck of a lot about places like this, not to mention abondoned hospitals! Thank you Mr. Motts!

Any idea what it said below - -"alway start" - - with the arrow pointing up? I wonder how many fingers have pushed these buttons over the years.

I thought it was : Pust to stop, pull to start, twist to slow down and ignore all together if your a state employee.
