Did these people that worked and lived here just get up and leave one day? Or was this prison closed? All that objects that are left behind make me think that these people literally got out of here as soon as possible!

I can't believe how clean this bathroom is! Hideous shower curtain though. Weird how it's still there waiting for the next guest who will never arrive.

Most of the colours used to paint the walls were intentional.

i think that this is amazing. There are hardly any place like this in Australia that are intact with the history still remaining inside.
Most places have been trashed and spray painted, which i find to be very sad as 'hospitals' such as these are a huge part of histroy and are fasinating.
