nice use of black and white

Looks like someone sliced lines into the wall and window frame at some stage

in the uk old fire places in smaller rooms like a bedroom had these small fireplaces whereas in larger rooms like the drawing room (living room) or kitchen had much larger ones to heat a larger space. they are now worth a lot of money for an original one!

This has the makings of another Edgewood Hospital fiasco...on a much larger scale!!

I lived in KP for about twenty five years. Intrestingly in 1975 when I move there the decay and abandonment were already starting. My friends and I used to explore the brush in that area, sometimes we got thrown out, but mostly they let us be if we weren't drinking or causing trouble.

Freaking bizarre that even the keys are still there.

I don't what saddens me more...knowing the history of KPPC,(warehousing the mentally ill) or seeing these magnifacent structures rotting away.

Oh my, LOOK at that tub! Hilarious. And BTW, the pics from ineedattention that show the parents AND a kid in the tub kinda weirds me out...being that it's a heart shaped tub...surrounded by mirrors....and shag carpet.
