Yea! Motts is back with a new gallery for us to enjoy and comment on. Lets get started! ...... So still, cold and lonely!
Very nice photograph. I'm surprised at the fact that no idiot has trashed this place yet. It seems like it was just closed down very recently. Good job Mister Motts.

I was born with disabilities, and my parents I think were given the option of instituting me. They were also told that I would not live past a year. Please note that this was the early 1980s, and there were some institutions open. Of course, my parents refused to give me up, and obvioulsy I surpassed the one year mark.

So, I was in that type of bed for quite some time in hospitals getting surgeries and what not.

Ah, Netscape. How you were ever so fast. (sarcasm)

We did not even have Internet in my elementary school. We had to use the good old encyclopedias, periodicals, and dictionaries to due research. I think it was going into the 7th grade that i first get to get online.

And, i graduated high school eight years ago.
The tiles are, without a doubt, used to teach impaired children how to speak and read. The LIndamood Phonemic Sequencing (LIPS) uses the EXACT SAME tiles. She charges $600.00 for a 2 day seminar and has done quite well for herself. It would be very interesting to know if one of her relatives was a resident or perhaps taught at this institution. It would be very interesting to know where this institution is located. Any hints?
Wow, this place burned the same night that a "MONSTER" hog tied and set afire my friend's two small children in a horrific murder. On April 10,2010 Jeff Wesheit bound my friend's son, Caleb, 5, and poured gasoline on him and set him on fire in HIS OWN bed, and left him to die and his 8 year old sister, Alyssa. This happened at 3:45 am, in Evansville, Indiana. I am SOOOOOO devestated. So is the family. I am spreading this story in hopes that this will NEVER happen again. CPS ( Child Protection Services) was called only 2 weeks before this, and NOTHING was done, no follow up call, nothing. I am putting this on here so those precious babies will NEVER be forgotten. PLEASE Spread the word. Thank you, so much! Dawn

I can tell by looking at the wall the water is starting to seep in. In the coming years this place will look like the collapsing buildings in your other albums.
11:40....isn't that the same time that Titanic sank?
