I wish Danvers would of been left alone and properly maintained and secured as well as many other mental health facilities as well, mainly for our soldiers with mental health problems and anyone who needs a place to go to get away from gangs, drugs, and alcohol as well as a place to go if you need a place to sleep for the night after a long night of driving as a last resort.

Since the facility is properly maintained and secured, I am certain that the owners would be glad to take you around and show you some stuff. You may be one of the only exceptions to be shown the place. Just make your intentions solid and your photos eccentric. Maybe you might get shown other locations on the property by surprise! This place has always interested me esp after watching some videos on YouTube about it. Not sure how much is really true or just fiction. I thought I'd looked at your gallery Motts but I guess I hadn't yet. I'm sure its changed alot since you last took this pictures some what 5-6 yrs ago now.(Or longer?) It would cost a fortune to renovate it thats for sure. If all these forgotten buildings had uses already picked out for them & were rebuilt when they had been closed after only some yrs than maybe they could be 'saved' but the costs are really just too high....its sad in some ways ...these buildings are much better built than probably the new one's today.......its a total shame. Thanks for the gallery Motts. They are always eye opening thats for sure!!!!
