How frustrating it must have been to have to sleep on horsehair matresses and in a ward full of 10 other people... with no walls separating you.... Not condusive to a good night's sleep if you ask me.

What a beautiful building! THIS is the reason that they should restore the buildings: If they're this beautiful in a slightly decomposing state, think of how gorgeous they'd be fully restored!
