The tiles on the ceiling make it surreal. I'll bet the accoustics were awesome, tho.

If the key was not taken by the photographer, was it at least tested on anything?

I had a few relatives that worked here immediately prior to it's shut down. The place seemed to invoke a feeling of dread long before the abandonment of all the buildings, and it carried the strong feeling of an unknown past in every room, around every corner.

I don't know why but for some reason I am fasantated (sp) with morgue shots. Maybe it's the (sometimes a little too perky) Goth in me. I really like the way the light shines through the broken window glass.

Fanbloodytastic shot. It almost doesn't seem real. More like a movie set but I know it is very real. Yeah those fences are a b***ch to climb especially if you are in a hurry because security is on your butt. Heh.

It looks as though there is a skull and crossbones in the drape on the left!! And it's really spooky!!

Nice pic. When I was in my teens many moons ago my friends and I used to climb the water tower in the town I lived in and drink beer for hours. The easy part was climbing up. The hard part was climbing down especially after a few six-packs. We obviously didn't have a lot to do.

That is a very pretty shot. A little eerie but still a fantastic shot.
