Wow, the handprint is creepy.

I'm trying to get in touch with Radical Ed, but I don't know what forum he was referring to. Anyone with any information on that to pass on to me?

No Jessica scarlett its not cool its sad and heartbreaking and creepy even this was a mental hospital not a recreational center, there were not happy times here. my mother grew up near by here and stopped to see it with my uncle once when we were in new york and he was hugging her to make her feel safe and this was at night time and she told me she could literally still hear the screams

Oh my gosh if you look at the other pix this place is so creepy but this pic creates a whole point of view and brings beauty into such a sad, heartbreaking place

the lines in the image are a reflection of the pipes above near the ceiling, but it does not explain what it is reflecting off of. I have been here before, around the time of these photos...there are def. ghosts here!! We took a camera with us and picked up sounds we couldnt hear at the time, like hard sole shoes walking away!

I love how you can see the second floor on the right hand side. You can see the different color schemes that were painted over the years.
Great job Motts. I'll join the crowd in hoping you are cautious in these buildings. And please if you go alone, make sure a friend knows where you were headed and when you would be out so they can send the search party.

I hope that is worded better. I just want the people who want to see the place to see it before its gone. I don't say go in it. We r meeting on sunday to go on the old nature trails. Not go in the building
