very true, lisa! people who give security a hard time make it more difficult for the honest photographers to do there jobs. i've been through here a few times and had no problems. (the tunnels are a little creepy though lol)

Its a supine restraint board. they strap you in it so you cant harm yourself. inside the canvas there is slats of wood that keep it straight. The straps are tied around you and also used as handles for transporting violent patients to a safer area. Trust me, I spent 5 years in a mental facility.

I've seen hundreds of pictures on this site and never posted, but this one amazes me. Its almost eerie to see the power nature has to return things to its natural state.

No, I process the photos on the computer which can give a similar effect to on-camera photo filters.

I've noticed that the water main is shut off in almost every disused building I've been in, probably to eliminate a leakage problem that could go unnoticed for some time. This would disable any water based fire extinguishing systems; I'm not sure how other systems are handled (Halon etc).

I think this is my favorite photo in this set. Love the blend of colors and textures.

I can only imagine how amazing it must have been to first set eyes upon this site.
