I grew up here literally. I lived in a house that bordered this property until I was 12 and lived in Goshen area til after college. My mother worked at the seminary so I was there all the time.
This photo of the fall leaves is the only thing that seems to have survived like a remember it.

It is a cathedral. It's massive. It's beautiful and you captured it so beautifully.

They are tearing it down but they have to be careful because of all the asbestos.

i was up there four times and could not find a way in this building.

the first time i was there i walked right through there and didn't notice that until i was outside the building and said "i'm glad we didn't walk through that part, oh, wait..."

Mr Motts,you've given us a sad closure to our school. Ancilla Domini Academy was a wonderful place to be educated. The workwork inside was phenomenal. I went there for 12 years and knew it inside and out like the back of my hand. I thought that a Baptist seminary had bought it from the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart, but I could be mistaken. Thanks for the walk back in time!!

Since so much money was already spent on the building , why not find someone to take it over and restore it to what is was.l

Lisa, Timothy Leary was one of the psychedelic drug leaders of the 1960's. He was into LSD. He was a very controversial figure. Just Google his name. He owned a place in Millbrook in the 1960's and he died in 1996.

Every time I think I've found my favorite another striking picture appears on the screen. Absolutely fantastic! You have quite an eye.
