All these State Hospitals should be preserved and made into apartments, or museums, or schools... its wrong to think of them as haunted or sad.... We have asylums just like these.... in India . I hope they make something out of them.

is the green from fluorescent paint? looks like it goes from yellow in you light to green in the dark areas. cool shot

-Looks like I have an arcade machine from the Rocky Point Arcade!
First off, many thanks for posting these pics - as I would have never known where my old machine came from!
Secondly - I'm currently restoring an Atari Pole Position (1982) - and in sanding down the bad spray-paint job, some white stenciled letters started to appear:

ROCKY POINT
ARCADE
After a little search, I discovered where the ole-girl used to 'live'!
Can anyone confirm if they stenciled all their machine while in-use - or was this done once it was put in storage?
In any case - very fun - and many thanks for allowing me to get a little more history on the machine.

I was in the admin building this past Saturday while staying at a hotel next door. It's very creepy, much more beaten down and vandalized (after 10-years, it's unfortunately common) but full of amazing opportunities to take pictures. Only visited the first floor. Local police were out front when we walked around the building, but didn't pay any attention to us walking around and taking pictures. FASCINATING visit to say the least.
