Good shot, I do not often bring a tripod or monopod, the ground is usually so uneven. This sparks my imagination, it looks like it could have been a factory, office, hotel a mall or any large, open structure.

Thanks for the gallery and interesting history, Motts. I would never have known this is where the indoor car chase from Blues Brothers was filmed. Glad I stopped by, I have needed an urb-ex fix.

You know I did not see one single light fixture in this one.
Neat poem Toot
Why remove the Toys r Us/Jewel pic?
I feel the same way as Freespirit, especially when I am in an empty airport. It’s like the energy of those who pass through somehow lingers. In the same sense an abandoned hospital may have the emotions of those who were patients.

I know I'm posting late....still working my way through all the older galleries (I definitely spend too much time on each picture and comments!) I can't wait until I've finished the older galleries so I can start looking at the newer ones but at this rate it'll take me another year.

Love this shot, Motts. You have such an eye for setting up a photograph.

When initially looking at the comments, I had the exact same thought as Karma.
Love the comment posted by Ouroboris....laughed out loud! It's a great thing I'd just swallowed my lunch or it'd have been all over my computer screen! :-)
YES - and THANK YOU SO MUCH - very well done indeed - no tripod is OK. At times it was hard for me to understand The Size. Thoroughly enjoyed.
Yes, Tony C. and they waited far too long also probably.
Damn! It is even hard to know WHAT this is or the size - looks like a ship
Thanks flushed. Some thrashing galore event indeed
Yes so eerie & lurid -that Mall Blue looks so eager still after all these years.
Yeah - it was a bad call....
Ambulance deep in the mud - will the help get there in time?
Eyesore, oh YES,, indeed - but we are not sore to see a New Gallery, and a very interesting idea also with this one. Thank You so much Mr.Mott. A Happy Day of enjoyment wish for all now........................

What I liked was that there was very little graffiti.

What a scene! Looks like the escalator took you to a Chinese restaurant and now not one egg roll left behind.
