I wouldn't go in there now if you PAID me! Taunton now is filled with hookers, drug dealers and wanna be gangstas. Really sad it was a great place to grow up. Now if you went in there you'd most likely encounter a tweeker ready to knife you.

This is an amazingly beautiful building that needs to be preserved. Thankfully the BCRT is doing a great job of that.

Upon my visit there, my first thought was: WOW. Reminds me of GHOST SHIP.

That slate roof is amazing. As long as they are put on correct and with the proper materials and maintenance they will outlast the structure itself indefinitely. Can't get any better than slate for a sloped roof.

I also noticed the color change on the wall about to the height we would have and that the flooring is gone. There is more then enough room between each toilet for this to be the case. With a lot of the petitions they don't last very long and are only held in by a few nails. Once the floor goes they go.

I'm not sure if this has been stated but what could have been up was walls much like our public bathroom stalls have. I'm a tile setter and when I work in a public bathroom this is exactly how it looks to us then the partition guys come in and put in the separating walls which usually have the tp and napkin holders
