Again, how regal these buildings are show through....if not for the bars, I could almost see this being some king's or noble's castle.

Such regal buildings simply to be abandoned. Makes me sad.

I think I see the soap dispensers on the ceiling.

This was just amazing! I wish there were a 100 more shots. The kitchen(s) maybe. So much must have been missed! Argh!!

Another beautiful building. They don't make them like that anymore, that's for sure.

Door to where? The door looks as if it had been repaired a number of times. Why? An interesting shot that has left me wondering....

Ok thanks ! Because I'm in this area and I discovered it on your website. This military hospital is beautiful, I hope I'll find its location..

Thanks! The campus is on the French-German border; I'd rather not disclose more information at this time.

Thanks Carolyn, yes I try to find a decent vantage point but it's often a very quick process. The security dogs at the site definitely made this trip a fast one.
Really nice set, Motts! Thanks!....Hope those plastic bags didn't hold any parts of people guard dogs got a hold of! : )
mica? Window? What window!? I don't see a window! I think that is Motts' headlamp and/or flashlight dimly lighting that...uh...space (whatever it is). The door IS purty tho! Blue and VIolet are my favorite colors. : )
I guess this answers my question about if all the windows were painted à pretty dark blue. NOPE!
Oops! I meant to say that I love Motts' staircase SHOTS, not shorts! Tee-Hee! : D
I just love all of Motts' staircase shorts!

Hey, davegangster! I'm into photography and I think I can safely say that Motts probably first 'scouts' the area for the best subject matter. Then he probably checks out the different angles and lighting possibilités, etc. Then when he finally decides to take the 'shot', whether he uses his tripod or not depends on how much light he has, etc. Since Motts is a professional, he can probably do all those things in succession pretty quickly. Especially, if he knows there's a guard dog around! : D. It takes the rest of us a bit longer to do all those steps, unless you do it on a regular basis. Hope that helps answer your question til Motts gets back with you!
