Vaikea olisi tämän yhden kuvan avulla kertoa, missä tämä paikka sijaitsee. Onneksi on koko kuvasarja - ja tekstit. ;)

I went to Horace Mann in 1952 after the the great KC flood. We had moved to the city from the farm. My teacher was either Ms Lawrence or Ms Florence. I attended 1st grade -6th grade. I was the first girl to play in the All Star baseball game, a bit of a tomboy & shortage of boys. I remember the YoYo experts that would come to our playground & show how to do the tricks like "walk the dog". We moved, I went to Frances Willard then on to Paseo High. Great to see this pic. I remember a Judy (Walker ?)that had several brothers & Heather ( 6th grade) from Equador or Trinidad. Her father was a missionary. I am now 72.
