Hello everyone, sorry I haven't checked back here in a bit. I have been hard at work on this project with my partner. We are in contact with several people about interviews.
I was over there last week and I spent about five hours filming the outside in every possible angle.
If possible, please post any demolition updates here, I want to make sure that I'm there when/if it happens. All I know is that the owner had 60 days to come up with a demolition plan, which was back in Feb I believe?
There have been people who were raped by sadisti orderlies and children whose teeth were pulled out by crazed in-house "dentists" because those kids actually dared to fight back at such goons as those damnable orderlies! And now the place is used as a "haunted house" attraction?! What the hell-fuck are these people thinking?! They seem to have the very same mentality as the otherwise who raped and the institutional dentists who committed dental mayhem!! Fuck off, you pigs on the take -- shame on you !!!! Those of you who use abandoned snake-pits as tourist attractions are about the same as those who exploit concentration camps as "guided tours"! Fuck off, you money-mad pigs !!!!
I attended NAPS during the '64-'65 term. I feel so sad to see how deteriorated condition this building is in. Everything was so beautiful at the time hard to imagine that anyone would allow all these buildings to go south like this. My time there was a "time in my life" type experience especially coming in from the Marine infantry unit at the time. LTJG Derek Snyder was my algebra instructor at the time. Hope all is going well with him. Semper Fi!
