mica, it was like on the Titanic, as the ceilings of the grand staircase, rooms & hallways decayed, the wiring held the lighting in place. Very interesting to see such a sight.

And i think of "X marks the cross" of Northam Manor Psy. Hospital. It is lovely architecture, those double-doors. Makes good-looking rooms.

Just weird! A weird room! Don´t understand how the beds would be placed. To lie in bed looking up at that ceiling would have been uncanny. There are so many windows; 25 ??? Or more? It was a very light room!

Sitting in a bed of fluffy blankets and watching the seasons change out these windows would be amazing

I wish I knew what state this place is in now. I know parts of it have been demolished, but is the whole place gone now?
