The state owns Rocky Point Park now. The amusement park area and adjacent Rocky Beach cottage community are fenced off, slated for total demolition this summer, and there's an asphalt walking path 2 miles long along the ocean side. I hope someone will post this update to your excellent site.

Yeah they look to be part of the sprinkler system attached to the ceiling.

Yup, all the rooms down here had to be lit with a flashlight.

There were some thick vines growing up the sides of the building; I think they're reaching in from a busted window on the left.

Iceberg - just another empty room, possibly a single bedroom or used for observation; the angle of the wall eliminates a blind spot that usually occurs in rectangular rooms when looking in from the door.

Maybe that grated door led to a back stairwell or a service elevator used by staff only.

At least the caskets were nice and they didnt just pitch them in a old pine box. Sad, however they died unnamed or unclaimed.
My husband & I aren't bothering with caskets. We plan on donating our organs, then what's left to medical research. Then when medical research is done with our remains we're havivg them cremated, and then will probably have our ashes put in the Atlantic Ocean. For those still living, we'll have them hold Celebration of Life Services in our memories if they want.
