You know, back then it took several minutes to take a picture. Once the shutter was pressed, you had to sit still for several minutes while the picture was "collected" onto the film. That is why no one smiled back then. Who wants to hold a smile for that long? LOL!

Unsure why there is a drain, or why the door is gated and not the window. But I DO know that walls are not tile. Yes, these are the same walls used in schools. They are cinder blocks that are "faced" with that tile look. Quite permanent.....
