I still can't help feeling sorry for the people who were bathed so openly though, its part of the tragedy of having an Illness where you have to rely on others to take care of your every need.
I agree it is an odd statement to have on this entrance... For a Hospital / Institution that held Psychiatric Patients to have this "Motto" on its Archway seems kind of out of place, I wonder exactly what the point was ?
The smoke stacks made us curious as for what was behind them, a whole city that was and still is engrained in many, who grew up in the surrounding towns. Take the ten speed and a flashlight with trusted friends and let your mind wonder. 1986/89 edgewood was another. Oh the memories of childhood, THANK YOU for your website and desire.
