I love how its slightly off-kilter - looks like its beckoning to you...

EEW, EEW, and EEW!!! I can't imagine the stench, and I certainly wouldn't want any of this water getting on me!!!

But besides that, its a very cool shot ; )

Oh yuck! What a nightmare to get stabbed with a hypodermic needle...Just one thing that scares me about exploring.

Although the chances of it happening are slim to none, still I can't help to wonder what a patient would think if they wandered into one of these areas. I also can't imagine residing in a building connected to something so abandoned. Yet if I wasn't a hospital patient, I might consider it quite nice to be able to go exploring so easy! But It think it would ultimately creep me out.

Very eerie...

Motts, are those holes in the floor all around the altar, or have numerous things just fallen? It looks like I can see some brickwork on the sides...

Its so intriguing how those radiators sink into the floor like that...

Wow Paul, I can't imagine what it must feel like to see the place like this.

In an odd way its neat how the floor just fell away from the fireplace...I keep imagining how I could get in front of the fireplace and to that little square of flooring left on its other side. Although that would be impossible and I would die in the process *scratches head*

I love the eerie touch the black and white adds...

Anyways, does anyone have any more info on this place? Like is there a good website or something? I'm just kinda confused about its history. Does anyone living around the area know how much of this is still there?

Makes me wonder whatever happened to Chris and Tyrone.

Looks as though it was placed there on a bed. What is that pillow? Was the drawer closed, trapping the animal?

The California air
Your nightgown on the stairs
I remember every night
Scenes from home in the Quiet Room

How long have I been gone
Did winter kill the lawn
And all those polaroids you sent
Are on the wall in the Quiet Room

They've got this place
Where they've been keeping me
Where I can't hurt myself
I can't get my wrists to bleed
Just don't know why
Suicide appeals to me

The Quiet Room
Is sterilized and white
It's like a tomb
With just a moth stained naked night

Plastic forks and spoon
No laces in my shoes
They allknow what I tried to do
Outside the Quiet Room

This quiet place
It ain't so new to me
It's haunted atmosphere
Has heard so many scream
My home from home
My twilight zone
My strangest dream

My confidant
I have confessed my life
The Quiet Room
Knows more about me than my wife

They've got this place
Where they've been keeping me
Where I can't hurt myself
I just can't
I just can't get these damn wrists to bleed

A mattress on the floor
No handles on the door
I really need nothing here
I'm alone
