Thank you, thank you. I actually found this site a long time ago while looking for theatre galleries. I'm a huge fan of your art!!

I should have worded that better... how often do you find memorial plaques like this?

Great gallery. This seems unusual to have a "closing" plaque.

That seems like a lot of debris for a building that looks to be relatively well protected from the elements. Were there a lot of openings or is this mostly the result of extreme temp?

Morgue. Noun. A place in which bodies are kept.

Sure looks like one to me.

Is the floor somewhat wavy or is that due to the lens? You are a magician with a flashlight.

Wonder why someone would have bothered to take all the ceiling tiles? Not like they have any value. There is no where near enough debris on the floor for them to have fallen. How odd.

That is amazing.

If they had been familiar with your work they likely would have begged you to take their photo!

I have a feeling you have a lot of fans who would love to have you take their wedding pictures in an abandoned site.

I love this shot. The mix of total beauty and total decay is staggering.

From this angle, it looks like there are only a couple of boards holding the dormers up.

I agree. Not to upset anyone (honest), but while I don't feel every old hospital should be restored to its former glory, there are some sites like this one (and some hospitals) that were of such beauty it is a shame to lose them.

Not much left of that! It's like no matter what you take into the building it ages and decays at a rate to catch up to the rest of the building.

What a great day. I was reviewing some older galleries and hit the main page before heading out and Mott's had posted another gallery. I love "new gallery days"!
